The Commission responsible for the Public Selection of Civil Society Organizations to join the National Tourism Council for the 2023-2025 term approved Anacamp's application to be one of the entities holding a seat on the Council. As a result, Anacamp will be able to bring camping-related topics to this important Brazilian government body, which advises the Ministry of Tourism on tourism matters. The announcement was published on November 20, and on December 7 the names of the principal and alternate members to represent Anacamp on the Council were presented: the Association's current president and first secretary.
Anacamp has established itself as the main representative of Brazilian camping, and as a result the participation and involvement of campers in general, and of its membership in particular, is becoming increasingly important, both in identifying the main demands and in being willing to join voluntary work aimed at addressing them.
This is a unique moment, in which Anacamp receives recognition and the opportunity to do work on behalf of Brazilian camping. Together we are stronger.
